

Thankfully, those wonderful first few games from the Game Boy era are being kept alive with modified versions like Pokemon Ultra Violet. While that’s great news for younger fans who are growing up with later generations of Pokemon, those of us who were there right at the beginning might be unable to keep up with the releases, being in our 20s and 30s and juggling family life with work, etc. However, the opposite is true, in that we get at least one new Pokemon video game every single year. With almost 80 titles under its belt, including spinoffs, you would think that the franchise would begin to slow down. Over the past couple of decades, Pokemon has come to dominate the video game space.
